Do you love to play in the dirt? Do you dream of being behind the wheel of earth movers? Then our Heavy Equipment Operator Technician program might be just for you. We are proud to be home to the only heavy equipment operations program in Nebraska. Heavy equipment operators are highly skilled technicians who operate large industrial moving equipment designed to construct roads, level land and lay pipe, among other activities. You’ll have the opportunity to learn on state-of-the-art simulators as well as getting behind the wheel of all the heavy equipment used in our outside classroom.
